What to Do Right Now
If you smell gas
Leave the house immediately. Don't flip any switches. Call 911 first, then call your gas utility, then call us.
If your furnace stopped working
Check your thermostat settings and make sure it's set to heat. Check the filter (a clogged filter can shut down a furnace). If neither helps, call us. Keep interior doors open to let whatever heat is in the house circulate.
If your AC stopped cooling
Check the thermostat, check the filter, and make sure the outdoor unit isn't blocked by debris. If the system is running but not cooling, it may be a refrigerant issue. Call us and we'll diagnose it.
